carscoops Lamborghini Urus SUV Reportedly Confirmed for Production-The news comes from Lamborghini. This car maker will make an SUV, slowly turning the brand into a second Porsche, if you will, as it will allow it to concentrate on developing really good sports cars, whereas making the bulk of its profits from an off-roader and possibly a luxury sedan.
In addition, they can do one better than Porsche, in fact, because they can argue that they have tradition on their side, having previously built another high-powered and exclusive SUV which is named the LM002 that made 328 for examples from 1986 to 1993.
Really, the news that they are reportedly going to put the Urus into production comes as no surprise. The information comes courtesy of EVO's Harry Metaclife who twitted that Lamborghini made the announcement at the final send-off dinner of the Grande Giro 50th anniversary tour respectively.
Car lovers, not much else is revealed, aside from the 2017 deadline for the start of production, as well as the 3,000 units the Italian automaker aims to sell worldwide, primarily in the US, UK, Middle East, China and some of the better-off European markets.
However, the official announcement hasn’t been made. So be patient guys to wait for.
