Poll: Has The Facelift Done The Trick for the Porsche Panamera?

New car, Porche, Porche Panamera We are sure that you will be very pleased to see that the next incarnation of the Porsche sedan will going to stop being inconsistent (especially at the back), and start being handsome like it should have been all along.

On the other hand, the facelift has been unveiled; we have something to ease the wait for the completely new version that is due around 2015 or 2016.

As what we are left to contend with until then is the newly launched 2014 model-, that we believe has helped the Panamera rid itself of some of the awkward styling cues.

Now, let’s see at the front side. Well, the redesigned headlights look crispier, and seem to be placed slightly higher than on the pre-facelift model, giving the front end a more imposing stance. In addition, the bumper is all-new and it gets integrated horizontal LED running light strips-which seamlessly integrate with the rest of the design.

Let’s move to the back side. Here, with the re-sculptured and flared rear bumper incorporating the number-plate, and with the redisgned light clusters, this update has not cured the Panamera of being slightly distorted at the rear – the new long-wheelbase model makes the rear three-quarter view almost unbearable.

Finally, allow us to ask you some questions. Has the facelift done the trick for the technically very capable Panamera? And has it made it a more desirable car?
